Experience

• Tri-County Realty began over 37 years ago as Darst Realty. The name was changed in 1992 to let the public know that we service the entire RTP as well as surrounding areas. Glenn and Susen Darst are the owners and have a combined 50 years of real estate experience. In the last three decades we have developed over 350 homesites in Durham, Orange and Person Counties as well as having a successful land brokerage. In June 2011 Glenn and Susen as well as Tim Tippett left Tri-Couty Realty and went to Fonville Morisey Realty Croasdaile Office as The Darst Success Team. We pride ourselves in being regarded as successful neighborhood real estate professionals with professional ethics and quality performance. We take pride in providing the utmost service and individual care in each transaction we do. We are all Durham natives and feel we can provide good quality knowledge in the real estate market. • Glenn has over 35 years experience in the real estate market. He also has expertise in land development and homesite development.
• Susen. I was born and raised in Durham, graduated from Northern High School in 1973 and was accepted into the UNC School of Dentistry Dental Assisting Program. Upon graduation I became a certified dental assistant and worked in general dentistry, periodontics and orthodontics as well as was a clinical instructor at the UNC Dental School D.A. program for three years. After thirty-two years I am still very active in my local and state associations being a life member and DANB certified dental assistant emeritus after 35 years. I have and continue to enjoy doing volunteer work promoting dental health throughout Durham and Orange counties. I decided to take the real estate course through Fonville Morisey many years ago. I have been helping individuals and families find their dream home in the triangle and surrounding areas for over twenty years. Over the last twenty years I have volunteered my time through the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS having served as Secretary and being on the Board of Directors for over 11 years. In 1995 I was honored to receive the Citizenship Award in recognition of outstanding service for the betterment of Durham and in 1996 I also received the Service Award that is given annually to one member who the DRAR feels has contributed so much to the community and association. I have helped numerous clients over the years that have bought and sold their homes through me some as many as six times. Having lived in the triangle area all my life I feel I know the areas of Durham, Orange, Person, Granville, Wake and Alamance counties. I love working with first time buyers helping them achieve the american dream of owning a home. • Tim. I was born and raised in Durham and graduated from Southern High School in 1970 and I currently reside in Creedmoor. I attended Durham Tech for 2 years and worked at several different jobs until January 1980 when I returned to school at North Carolina Central University where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduation I was employed by Central Carolina Bank where I stayed for 23 years. I have 5 years experience in the real estate market. I have a great understanding of the real estate market as well as numerous contacts in the financial industry. I also love to work with first time home buyers watching them experience the thrill of shopping for their very first home. I also, enjoy working with senior adults as they are looking to downsize and relieve themselves of some of the burdens that are required in order to keep up your home. I am a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church and I sing in the Adult Choir and in the Men`s Ensemble. I also play handbells with Temple Baptist Church and sing with the Male Singers group. I am a member of the DMBC dartball team that plays in a league of 14 other churches around the area. I am also active in the Lynn`s Crossroads Ruritan Club helping serve the Leesville Rd. area community. I am ready to help you with your real estate needs.
